chignittaは、クリエイティブな人々のアイデアや発想の源はすべての人にシェアされるべき宝であると信じています。chignittaでは、あらゆるジャンルにおいて「自らの意思で動き、表現し続けるインディペンデントな人たち」を紹介します。彼らがどうやって生き、何を考え、何に興味を持っているのかを取材し公開。コントリビューターとして関わってもらえるサイトにしたいと思います。

chignittaでは美しいビジュアルブックのようなコンテンツをベースに、たくさんのクリエイターが関わることのできるフォーマットを提供します。展覧会、ポッドキャスト、オンライン、オフラインでのミーティング。プロダクトの制作、アートプロジェクトもスタートさせます。

さあ、何が始まるか、小さくてもいいからこのネットの大海原に小さな石を一個、投げてみたいと思います。一緒にエンジョイしましょう。

chignitta believes that the source of ideas and inspirations for creative people is a treasure that should be shared with everyone. We will introduce "independent people who continue to move and express by their own will" in all genres here. We interview and publish how they live, what they think, and what they are interested in. We aim to make this website with people as a contributor.

chignitta provides a platform aiming beautiful visual book-like content that many creators can join. Exhibitions, podcasts, online and onsite meetings. We will also start product merchandises and art projects, too.

Well, let us throw a small stone into the ocean of internet to see what happens. Let's enjoy together. Peace!

アートが好き、人が好き、ファッションが好き、デザインが好き、本が好き、レコードが好きな人たちのために新しいサイトをスタートします。名前はchignitta（チグニッタ）。自分の名前（Taniguchi）をアナグラムにした極めて個人的で利己的なネーミングです。

僕は今年10月で58歳。高校生時代にウディアレンの映画に出会い「おいしい生活」みたいな仕事ができるならとコピーライターを目指して大学へ。５年のデザイン事務所勤務を経てFM802で約30年。プロモーションやアートディレクター、digmeoutというアーティスト発掘プロジェクトやアートギャラリー運営、UNKINOWN ASIAというアートフェアを手がけてきました。そろそろ自分で何かを語るべき歳になったと思います。

僕の財産はこれまでに出逢えた魅力的な人たちだと思っています。インディーで頑張ってる人、アートギャラリーやナイトクラブで出逢ったアートや音楽が好きでたまらない人。日本やアジア、海外の友達もたくさん増えました。ブックアディクトとしてヴァイナルジャンキーとして30年以上毎日コツコツ集めたガジェットも編集して公開することで誰かの役にたつかも知れません。そんな個人的な妄想に最初に共感してくれた笹貫さんをコ・ファウンダーに、このサイトをスタートすることにしました。長くブランドPRとして培ったセンス、国内・海外とのコネクショこのサイトをエンパワーメントしてくれると信じています。Paul Wellerがアイドルという彼女のルーツも趣味がいい（ちなみにchignittaというネーミングは、実はスタイルカウンシルの曲に因んでるんです。それはまたどこかで）。

人とモノに溢れたセレクトショップなようなサイトになればいいなと思っています。そんな個人商店に集ってくる仲間との雑談から新しいアイデアがフラッシュすればなおよろし。

最初は小さくてもいい。納得のいくセレクションとクールなグラフィックがあればいい。出逢って30秒でわかりあえるイケてる人たちに向けて10年経っても古くならないネタをリリースしていこうと思っています。ご期待ください。

We are launching a new site for people who like art, people, fashion, design, books, and records. The name is chignitta. It is a very personal and selfish naming with your name (Taniguchi) as an anagram.

I am 57 years old in October this year. When I was in high school, I met Woody Allen's movie and went to college with the aim of becoming a copywriter if I could do a job like "Small Time Crooks". After working at a design office for 5 years, he has been working for FM802 for about 30 years. I have been involved in promotion, art director, artist discovery project called digmeout, art gallery management, and art fair called UNKINOWN ASIA. I think it's about time I'm old enough to talk about something myself.　

I think my property is the fascinating people I have met so far. People who work hard in indie music, people who love the art and music they meet at art galleries and nightclubs. I have made many friends in Japan, Asia and overseas. It may be useful for someone to edit and publish the gadgets that I have collected every day for more than 30 years as a vinyl junkie as a book addict. I decided to start this site Junko san, who first sympathized with such a personal delusion, as a co-founder. Sense cultivated as a brand PR for a long time, connection with domestic and overseas I believe that this site will empower. Her roots in Paul Weller's idol are also hobby (by the way, the name chignitta is actually associated with the Style Council song, somewhere else).

I hope the site will be like a select shop full of people and things. It would be great if new ideas could be flashed from chats with friends who gather at such private stores.

It can be small at first. All you need is a convincing selection and cool graphics. I'm thinking of releasing a story that will not be old even after 10 years for the cool people who can understand each other in 30 seconds after meeting. Please stay tuned.

これまでを振り返ると、ここに辿り着いているのは自然な流れだと思う。自分には大きく３本の柱があって、それが骨格になっている。一つ目は、「音楽」。中２でMというイギリスのバンドの楽曲 ”POP MUSIK”の虜になった。同時期にJAMに惹かれ、ポール・ウェラーは永遠のアイドルとなった。音楽から海外に憧れた10代。二つ目は「英語」。音楽のお陰で英語にハマり商社に就職。上司はNY帰りで、私の天狗な英語は木っ端微塵に砕け散り、そこから猛勉強が始まった。三つ目は「クリエイティブ」。NY帰りのボスが率いるファッション部隊で、シャネルやディオールのジュエリーを扱った。ありがたいことに若いうちから欧米のクリエイターと一緒に仕事をした。これが起源。

クリエイターやブランドの考え、表現、彼らが好きな音楽、メディア、言葉。ご飯を食べ、喧嘩もし、まず相手の話しを聞く。彼らが何を表現したいか、を。そのために何をすべきか、を。相手を知らないと成立しない仕事。そして今、アートやクリエイティブのお仕事や仲間に繋がらせて頂いている自分が、去年あたりからぼんやり思っていたのが「メディアを作りたい」ということだった。今までやってきたみたいにたくさん聞いて、黒子の自分を媒介に世の中に紹介する。コロナの自粛期間も良い形で作用したと思う。お仕事でお世話になっていて、本の趣味以外のカルチャー嗜好は合う谷口さんと、そんな話しをしていた。彼も発信していきたい機運だった。「やろう！」ということになった。谷口さんが30年以上培ってきた素晴らしいキャリア。私は彼とは異なる場で生きてきたけど、ご縁があった。自分たちが「会いたい」「聞きたい」人をどんどん紹介する。アートだけではないけど、大事なのは「スタイル」があること。そして一緒に何か生み出せる、何かが生まれる一歩先の未来への気づき。

It’s a very natural path to be here. I have three elements have been consisted and grown me. The first one is “music". I fell in love with the song "POP MUSIK" by a British band “M” at 14 years old. Soon after, I encountered the British band THE JAM . A front person, Paul Weller became a forever idol of me. A teenager who longed for Overseas. The second element is “English”. I studied so hard to know for music I love. I got a job at a trading company. My boss just returned from NY, and he shattered my English which I believed it’s more than average into fine dust, and I started studying hard. The third element is "creative". I worked in a fashion jewelry division led by an ex-New Yorker boss, for Chanel and Christian Dior. Thankfully, I worked with quality creators from a young age. This is the origin.

We talked again and again for the ideas and expressions of creators and brands, the music, media and words they like. Sitting on a dinner table together, discussions to arguments; I listen to the other person first to grab what they want to express through their beautiful creations and what I have to do for it. Nothing can be completed without knowing the people I sit with. And now, as I am connected to art and creative people and friends, I have vaguely thought about making a new media since 2019. I listen to people being creative, introduce them to share the world through me, a backstage person. I think I had lots of time during the stay home period in the Spring, 2020.
I was talking with Mr. Taniguchi, who often worked together and had common cultural tastes other than books. He also wanted to distribute something. Then, we were in mood of ”Let's do it!" HIs wonderful career over 3 decades. I lived in a different place than him, then we met and found a connection. Introduce more and more people who "want to meet" and "want to hear". We introduce people who we would like to meet and listen to you. It’s not just about Art. The important thing is to have a “style”, and being one step ahead from now that will bring some creative chemistry in the future.
