Zine making workshop for IN/SECTS, a local culture magazine from Osaka.
Zine making workshop at Chignitta
This is the second workshop to make our own “zine”, which was held at Hankyu Umeda in 2021.
“The second workshop will be held at UTSUBO, the home of IN/SECTS and Cignitta.
“This is Utsubo? Is this Utsubo? We will make a zine by collecting information that only I know about the area around Utsubo Park.
Let’s make a zine with the IN/SECTS editorial team.
Don’t worry if you don’t know anything about UTSUBO, or if you’ve never been here before. Change your perspective
After the lecture, you will each go out to do fieldwork.
We will produce a zine based on the photos you take. The zine will be sent to you by post at a later date.

What is “IN/SECTS”?
IN/SECTS has been producing a local culture magazine since 2006, focusing on communities and the connections and movements that arise from ideas and empathy.
“IN/SECTS also publishes books with a sense of independent potential based on the things and things encountered through IN/SECTS, as well as interesting movements, people, and perspectives that exist in everyday life.
We also publish books with a sense of independent potential. Since 2016, I have been holding the event “KITAKAGAYA FLEA & ASIA BOOK MARKET” at the former site of Namura Shipyard in Kitakagaya.
