Photon graph

A photon is a particle of light and one of the quanta, the smallest units of matter and energy.

And strangely enough, it is said to have the properties of both a particle and a wave.

When not observed by humans it behaves as a "wave," but the moment it is observed it becomes a "particle."

And when you stop observing it, it reverts to its wave properties.

If we expand our imagination from this mysterious phenomenon, the act of observing = looking is,

It seems to me like an act of establishing - or separating - what you "see" from the world.

In Buddhism, it's like finding "color" from "emptiness."

In the words of a Mexican sorcerer, from the "Nagual" (the indescribable world)

It's like extracting the "tonal" (the world that can be expressed in words).

It is as if "Atman (microcosm)" is setting out on a journey from "Brahman (macrocosm)" in Indian philosophy.

Like plants growing from soil.

Like a drop splashing from a lake, or life being born from death.

And drawing a picture is like drawing energy from the "source of creativity."

I feel that it is an act of fixing it into a "work of art."

In this exhibition, "Photon graph,"

This exhibition features a series of paintings that I created with the idea in mind: "What if I could see this?"

There are people who glow from within and can play with light.

It is such a mysterious world. Through this work, I hope to be able to experience the invisible light (the unknown world).

I hope you enjoy imagining it.
