Chignitta Space is pleased to present a solo exhibition of watercolor paintings & charcoal drawings by Tokyo-based artist Misato Ogihara. This is her first solo exhibition in Osaka projected/curated by junkosasanuki creation.
Misato Ogihara
Misato Ogihara works as a painter and illustrator in a wide variety of fields, including advertising and packaging. She works in Tokyo and in Yamanashi Prefecture, where nature is abundant. She is also popular for her book illustrations and has created many cover illustrations for novels.
Tokyo-based artist Misato Ogiwara is coming to Osaka. For the first time in Osaka, visitors will be able to see her original paintings of still lifes and landscapes, which are beautifully and quietly depicted in a world of still lifes and landscapes, painted with restrained colors and fine brush strokes, and overflowing with a sense of transparency.
Until now, her original paintings have been exhibited mainly in Tokyo, but this long-awaited solo exhibition in Osaka, which has been realized after much fanfare from the Kansai region, will feature new watercolor paintings, charcoal drawings, and other new works. We hope that many people will come to see this exhibition.
