Recently, Yamashita's work has been seen more and more in the social scene, such as in the Tokyo Metro Ginza Line Public Art Installation Project, where he created stained glass art for Gaienmae Station, the closest station to the new National Stadium. Yamashita's illustrations for the cover of the magazine "Tarzan," the Nike Japan headquarters, murals in Starbucks stores in Umeda and Ebisu, the official visuals for the Olympic sailing team, and corporate advertisements for Mizuho Financial Group using the Olympic Games as a motif have also attracted a great deal of attention.

This is Ryohei Yamashita's solo exhibition in Osaka in about six years. The title of this solo exhibition, "HOPE," which he followed in Tokyo and Hakata, has the meaning of "hope for eternity, even though we know it is fleeting. This exhibition will be an opportunity to enjoy the current form of his work, which is expanding its range of expression while maintaining the theme of "dynamism. In addition to his works featuring athletes, the "Blue ocean" series, which dynamically depicts the sea of Shonan, where his studio is located, will be exhibited for the first time. The exhibition will also feature a new collaborative work depicting the world of the manga "Kingdom" with Yamashita's unique touch.
